Every fragrance has a beginning. Some begin in a laboratory. Others begin with a business idea. GHOST BY VALAZAT began with a passion.
Long before there was a bottle, a logo, or a brand, there was simply a love for fragrances. I was fascinated by how a single scent could become part of someone’s identity. A fragrance wasn’t just something you wore, it became a memory, an emotion, and a silent introduction before you even spoke.
Like many enthusiasts, I started collecting the fragrances I could afford. Every bottle taught me something new. Every scent sparked curiosity. Over time, that curiosity became knowledge, and that knowledge became an obsession with understanding the art behind perfumery. Then one conversation changed everything. A close friend challenged me to do something I had never seriously considered before. Instead of simply appreciating fragrances created by others, why not create one of my own? Why not turn years of passion into something people around the world could experience? That simple encouragement planted the seed that would eventually become GHOST BY VALAZAT.
The name itself carries a deeply personal meaning. “Ghost” was a nickname given to me by my friends years ago. It represents a bond, shared memories, and the people who have been part of my journey from the very beginning. “VALAZAT” is a name uniquely my own, created from my full name. Together, they became more than a brand name. They became an identity, one that honors both my past and the future I hope to build.
GHOST BY VALAZAT has not always been there but it came from something I genuinely loved. Sometimes our greatest passions find us long before we realize they can become our purpose.
The journey hasn’t been easy. Finding the right manufacturers required patience. Designing bottles that truly reflected the vision proved even more challenging. Financial limitations constantly tested my determination. And perhaps the biggest challenge of all was uncertainty. Would people understand the vision? Would they appreciate the craftsmanship? Would they love the products as much as I did? Like every entrepreneur, those questions never completely disappeared. Then came the day that changed everything: the arrival of the very first bottles.
Holding them in my hands for the first time was overwhelming. What had existed only as sketches, ideas, late-night research, and endless planning had become something real. It was no longer just a dream. It was the beginning of a fragrance house.
